Work of the Policy Team

Skill's Policy Team:

• develops and maintains links with key policy makers such as civil servants and politicians
• responds to, and influences, national policy developments on the provisions for disabled people in further, continuing and higher education, training and employment throughout the United Kingdom
• represents Skill, and disabled peoples’ interests, on a number of national statutory and voluntary sector committees
• gives evidence to formal investigations into educational and employment opportunities for disabled people. 
• Produces Briefings and a monthly Policy Update which are stored in the member section of the Skill website.
