Volunteering is a fantastic way to gain experience, try new things, meet new people, learn new skills and have fun!
Volunteering means doing something for the benefit of someone else, or for the local community. You don’t get paid for volunteering. It can be anything from a couple of hours weeding a neighbour’s garden to a regular commitment every week updating information on a website.
Volunteering shouldn’t cost you any money either and in most cases your travel expenses will be paid back. You should also get training and support
to do the role.
